From May 1, 1990, in collaboration with the Institute of Marine Corrosion of Metals (I.C.M.M) of Genoa then Institute of Marine Science - I.S.MAR. – Genoa Geographic Unit, in the form of external professional collaboration, scholarships and short-term work contracts until December 21, 2001, when I won the national competition and was hired by C.N.R. in the position of Researcher with a long-term contract at I.S.MAR until September 2018. From November 2007 to Februray 2015 I was the Local Manager, delegated by the Director, of the Institute of Marine Science (ISMAR).

From October 2018 at today I am a Senior Researcher of C.N.R. - Institute of Anthropic Impacts and Sustainability in Marine Environment (IAS).

Research activities are mainly linked to the “Corrosion and Protection of Materials”; by these, scientific publications and partecipation at national and international congresses are derived.

Work activity, relating to research contracts and tech advices with industrial partners, was another interesting and focal point that permitted the technology transfer to productive sector.

My hobbies: trekking, MTBiking, motorcycle riding and target shooting.
